About the association

Officials

Observers, event organisers, doctors, coaches and lifeguards – the qualified officials of Hungarian ice swimming.

Competitions and ratified swims cannot happen without officials: they are responsible for the rules, the measurements and safety. The list below is compiled from our swimmer database, with international qualifications based on the IISA's official list. Each card links to the person's swimmer page.

IISA L3 – Medical

How to become an official

IISA qualifications (observer, event organiser, medical staff) are obtained through the IISA's own courses and exams; details are on the IISA website. [DOMESTIC COURSES, LIFEGUARD REQUIREMENTS AND HOW TO APPLY]

If you want an ice swim ratified, read about observers on the Ice Mile page.
